We've got the latest on the 49ers expected practice participation report for Thursday.
The San Francisco 49ers are returning to practice on Thursday, and head coach Jim Tomsula said linebacker Michael Wilhoite will be back on the field. He sat out Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury, but it appears the absence was mostly preventative. The 49ers will release their injury report later this afternoon, at which point we will find out if Wilhoite is a limited participant or full participant today.
Tomsula also said that Carlos Hyde and Garrett Celek will sit out practice again. He would not go into further detail on either player, but it is safe to say neither will play this Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
