The San Francisco 49ers signed quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson to the practice squad earlier this week, and it turns out it was not too difficult for the team to track him down. McBLT was released from the Miami Dolphins practice squad on September 9, and since then had been working as the offensive coordinator for the Balboa High School football team, as he told Eric Branch on Wednesday.
McBLT attended Balboa High School, graduating in 2006 after being named San Francisco Football Player of the Year. He had some free time after the Dolphins released him, and so he joined the team he led to a pair of city championship games.
