The San Francisco 49ers had a whole host of free agents remaining on their roster following the season, and they added to that group when they chose not to tender any of their restricted free agents. One member of that latter group was defensive back Marcus Cromartie, and he appears to be the one of the only free agents getting any significant interest.
Matt Barrows is reporting that Cromartie visited with the Detroit Lions last weekend, and there is interest from the Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, and New York Jets.
