The 49ers went into the offseason with a need to find a wide receiver with speed. They may have found their man.
According to his representatives, San Francisco has agreed to terms with wide receiver Marcus Johnson. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
After recording 61 receptions for 793 yards and one touchdown over three seasons at the University of Texas, Philadelphia signed Johnson as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He would make his NFL debut with the Eagles the following season.
On March 7, 2018, Philadelphia traded Johnson to the Seattle Seahawks.
