Turns out there’s another popular hip hop artist, beside Eminem, who is backing Colin Kaepernick.
Oakland rapper G-Eazy — best known for his hit “Me, Myself & I” — wrote an appreciative note Friday alongside an Instagram post of him standing next to the former 49ers quarterback. In it, he is holding a T-shirt printed with the hashtag #ImWithKap which has become an unofficial banner for Kaepernick (and which Stephen Curry used in a social media post).
“Thank you for bringing awareness and attention to injustices that are happening all over our country and the world, thank you for sparking a movement that’s creating a desperately needed dialogue about these issues, and on that note (expletive) Donald Trump straight up,” G-Eazy wrote.
