Lions center holds on to ball after false start vs. 49ers

For a game with a decent amount of scoring early on, the San Francisco 49ers Week 16 loss to the Detroit Lions had extended stretches of dull play. The 49ers were horrible with penalties, committing seven neutral zone infractions. However, it was a Lions penalty that lead to the amusing play below.

The Lions faced a 3rd and 3 at the 49ers 15-yard line. Larry Warford had a false start, which sent everybody scrambling in the play. Well, almost everybody. As you can see the center handled his business properly and was not going anywhere.

Given how crappy this game really was, I'll take whatever I can for entertainment value.
