It’s a shock learning the 49ers Levi’s Stadium gets $36 million back on property taxes.
County Assessor Larry Stone has been in office for a long time. How could he make such a mistake? Of the three three-member panels who hear property tax appeals, one made this decision. Stone said it’s complicated. The county would do well to gather expensive, proven and capable appraisers to counter the Big Boys’ legions of experts.
