The San Francisco 49ers suffered several injuries in their season finale loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but one is a notable issue heading into the offseason. Left guard Laken Tomlinson had not missed a snap since moving into the starting lineup Week 2 of the 2017 season. On Sunday, he suffered a knee injury in the second quarter and it has been confirmed as a torn MCL. There was some concern that Tomlinson suffered a torn ACL, but the ACL remains intact.
Tomlinson’s injury is a non-surgical injury, which means he’ll rest the knee and eventually begin the rehab process.
