Kyle Shanahan has ripped the NFL to shreds with his offensive scheme; this week’s breakdown focuses on the running game and how he utilized different run concepts to mangle the Browns’ defense. Of course, versatility is key in this scheme, on the very first play of the game, Shanahan presented a Strong Left formation to the Browns, then using motion, post-snap showed a weak inside zone to the right, only to wrap back to the strong side with what Shanahan calls “14 Suzy.” This produced an 83-yard Touchdown run from Matt Breida on the very first play of the game.
