San Francisco 49ers right tackle Trent Brown might be the most important player on the team right now, but he missed Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans with a shoulder injury. It’s the same injury that was ailing him in previous weeks, and he came down to a game-tie decision on Sunday. He was ruled out and Zane Beadles started in his place.
Beadles played exceedingly poorly, and Jimmy Garoppolo suffered for it. So, when do the 49ers get Brown back? Head coach Kyle Shanahan isn’t sure.
“Not really,” Shanahan said when asked if he had an update on Brown’s status.
