The San Francisco 49ers appear to have avoided any significant injuries in their Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Right guard Mike Person has a foot strain and fellow RG Joshua Garnett has a dislocated toe, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Neither had any broken bones, and now it’s a matter of seeing how they respond to treatment. Shanahan confirmed that linebacker Brock Coyle is in the concussion protocol, and also said that wide receiver Marquise Goodwin is day-to-day with a deep thigh bruise.
Person and Garnett will not be headed to injured reserve, but their statuses for Week 2 will not be known until later this week.
