For the next few hours we can at least breathe a sigh of relief. It’s not the greatest outcome, but 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s injury is a knee sprain. This came in his post game press conference, so we should get more confirmation this week on the severity and how long he’s out.
For now though, it could be worse. When Jimmy Garoppolo went down in Week 3, Shanahan told everyone moments after the game that they feared it was an ACL. That is not the case here. Two words is far much better than three letters.
