CARSON — C.J. Beathard is not a “roody poo”.
That much we can all be certain of when it comes to the 49ers’ quarterback.
Niners linebacker Rueben Foster told us as much last week, when it was clear that Beathard was going to be the 49ers’ starting quarterback once again.
And Beathard proved Foster right — again — on Sunday, when he took hit after hit after hit from a vicious and rarely-inhibited Chargers’ defense and refused to stay down, showing perseverance and toughness at levels that make you question if he was being heroic or reckless.
