KNBR-AM/FM is moving its radio broadcasts out of San Francisco amid several major changes for Cumulus Media’s Bay Area stations.
Cumulus has delivered multiple days of layoffs at its Bay Area stations, ending KNBR host Tom Tolbert’s run after 28 years and bringing KSAN-FM’s “Lamont & Tonelli” show to an end after 35 years together (20 on 107.7 The Bone). But the biggest change came Friday afternoon, when Cumulus issued a news release announcing the new KNBR studio location as well as the new KNBR host lineup and other changes.
