Former San Francisco 49ers running back Kendall Hunter has found himself a new opportunity. Hunter has signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, according to Justin Dunk of 3 Down Nation.
The 49ers drafted Hunter in 2011, and he spent five years with the team. He looked set to emerge as a significant complementary option to Frank Gore, but injuries derailed his career. He suffered a torn Achilles in November 2012. He returned and played the full 2013 season, but then suffered a torn ACL during 2014 training camp.
