For the umpteenth year in a row, questions abound over what the San Francisco 49ers should do at quarterback. But Joe Montana, the most decorated quarterback in franchise history, knows what he’d do if he were in charge.
“Well, I’d start Jimmy,” Montana said in an interview on Mike Silver’s podcast Sunday.
“I mean, look at how many games Jimmy [Garoppolo] won,” Montana continued. “For the longest time, yeah, questions were out with Jimmy for a while. But the one thing he's been able to do is win games for those guys.”
