Jimmy Garoppolo didn't see the game-winning play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Budda Baker kept him from admiring his workmanship.
The Cardinals free safety blitzed up the center and pounced on Garoppolo a split second after the 49ers quarterback released the ball. As Garoppolo tumbled to the turf, the ball dropped into the hands of Jeff Wilson Jr., who took it into the end zone without being touched.
Garappolo was quoted by Niners Nation on how the play developed:
"Yeah, we got a great look, it was zero. The D-end peeled with Jeff. I felt the pressure up the middle and kind of just put it out there and let him just make a play on it.
