The 49ers are still evaluating the quarterback position for 2016 and beyond, but that hasn't slowed talk about what's going to happen with former starter Colin Kaepernick.
The New York Daily News reported Tuesday that Kaepernick wants out of San Francisco and his top choice for a 2016 destination is the New York Jets.
This development evoked a response a day later from one of the Jets' more established veterans, wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
"I don't wan't Kaepernick," Marshall, who would hypothetically be catching passes from Kaepernick, said Wednesday on national television.
