The first 49ers free agent has been signed. According to Adam Schefter the New York Jets have signed guard Laken Tomlinson to a three year deal.
Tomlinson is back with Robert Saleh, OC Mike LaFleur, and OL coach John Benton.
49ers not retaining Tomlinson isn’t a surprise. The team was anticipating losing him and are hoping that 2021 second round pick Aaron Banks is ready to fill the void.
