NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco tweeted San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was spotted at 49ers’ headquarters this afternoon for OTAs.
Not even 20 minutes later, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Jennings signed a two-year deal worth up to $15.4 million, including $10.5 million guaranteed. Since Jennings did not sign his free-agent tender, this is a one-year extension. He is now signed through the 2025 season.
Jennings was set to make just under $3 million had he signed his tender. Now, he’ll more than triple that on his newest contract, judging by the guaranteed money.
