We saw San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy for three series. He played without the majority of the starters.
The first-string offensive line took the field without Trent Williams and Aaron Banks. Purdy’s weapons were Chris Conley, Trent Taylor, Jacob Cowing, and Brayden Willis.
The first series saw the offense pick up a first down, only for Purdy to get hit twice. The next series was worse, as Purdy looked uncomfortable in his situation. On a bootleg, he rolled to the left and made an ill-advised throw across the field that was dangerously close to an interception had tight end Eric Saubert not broken up the pass.
