San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided injury updates Monday afternoon. Defensive tackle Kalia Davis, who left the game early in Week 15 with an ankle injury, sustained a high-ankle sprain and will miss a few weeks.
The writing was on the wall as Davis left the locker room right in front of me in a walking boot. Davis had been filling in for the injured Arik Armstead and Javon Hargrave.
Armstead, who has missed the past few games with both a knee and foot injury, will be day-to-day. Shanahan said the team will see how it goes this week.
