Deebo Samuel sat out of Tuesday’s practice with soreness to his groin. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said this was a precautionary measure. However, Samuel was walking after practice without any sort of limp and joking with Fred Warner, so I wouldn’t read too much into Samuel’s perceived injury.
Monday’s practice came to a halt for a few minutes after linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair went down with what looked to be a serious injury. On Tuesday, the team received good news as Shanahan said Al-Shaair would miss a few weeks with a knee sprain. However, they do not fear there is any long-term damage.
