SEATTLE – Wide receiver Anquan Boldin will return to action Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks after missing the past two games with a hamstring injury.
Boldin is the 49ers’ leading receiver with 31 catches for 372 yards and two touchdowns. With Boldin active for Sunday’s game, the 49ers will not suit up veteran wide receiver Jerome Simpson or undrafted rookie DeAndrew White, the team announced.
The Seahawks on Sunday will be without their top offensive threat, running back Marshawn Lynch, due to an abdominal strain.
Lynch leads the Seahawks with 417 yards (3.8-yard average) and three touchdowns.
