San Francisco 49ers great Jerry Rice got into a heated confrontation with a reporter during the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe on Thursday.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, during the second day of practice rounds before the tournament began on Friday. In a video posted by Starcade Media, a reporter can be seen asking Rice, “Do the Chiefs have a good enough receiving core to win again?”
Rice ignored the question but later in the video was shown speaking to the reporter and saying, “you a f–king asshole.”
While the exact timeline of events is unclear, the initial reporting about the incident came from a different camera angle captured by TMZ.
