SANTA CLARA -- Running back Carlos Hyde will miss another day of practice on Thursday, and the 49ers could be nearing a resolution with the possibility they will look to create two roster spots in the next five days.
“The healing and the injury, that’s all part of the discussion,” 49ers coach Jim Tomsula said on Thursday.
“For legal reasons, for all kinds of reasons, I’m not going to talk about the specifics of a guy’s injury. We truly do leave that up to the doctors and the medical staff to monitor that and stay on top of that, along with Carlos.
