Up-and-coming pass-rushing outside linebacker Aaron Lynch will be suspended the first four games of the upcoming season, according to a report from 49ers.com and various other sources, and won’t be available to rejoin the team until after Week 4 when the Niners play the Dallas Cowboys.

“While disappointed to hear the news regarding Aaron today, we support and respect the league’s decision,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement. “We are confident that he will learn from this matter and that he understands what is expected of him moving forward.
