Well, it looks as if the San Francisco 49ers can cross off one team from the list of possible suitors for the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
According to a report from ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to sign soon-to-be free-agent quarterback Nick Foles, once free agency officially kicks off on March 13. Teams can’t negotiate with free agents until March 11, but there are clearly cases of courtship between camps, and such appears to be the case here.
Foles, who became quite the postseason hero and Super Bowl MVP in 2018, wasn’t hit by the Philadelphia Eagles with the franchise tag this offseason.
