The San Francisco 49ers suffered another ugly defeat over the weekend, this time at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in a 35-10 loss, dropping to 5-7 on the season.
While the score reflected a blowout, it wasn’t like the 49ers just got outright dominated. Instead, like in many of their games this season, they had a number of early chances, couldn’t capitalize, and played poorly as the game went on.
On Sunday, San Francisco got into Buffalo territory on each of their first five drives. Usually, that would signal a good amount of scoring, but the 49ers came away with just three points, converting one field goal, missing two others, punting, and fumbling at the one-yard line.
