By now you should now that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended by the NFL for his alleged role in deflate-gate.
The suspension was expected, but the fallout could be far worse. Not for Tom Brady, he’ll be fine, but for the rest of the league.
Let’s be honest here, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell hasn’t exactly had a wonderful track record when it comes to crisis control (Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson), so when the whole deflate-gate mess blew up, you knew Goodell placed himself in a situation where he had no choice but to give Tom Brady the kind of punishment he did, as ridiculous as it is.
