There has recently been a lot of hype about the 49ers getting either Antonio Brown or Odell Beckham Jr. I can see people’s points. We have apparently given up on Pierre Garcon and we are in need of a replacement. While Marquise Goodwin, Dante Pettis, Kendrick Bourne, Richie James and Trent Taylor are all good players, it would be nice to have a wide receiver of the caliber of Brown or Beckham.
On the other hand I am pretty sure Kyle Shanahan drafted Dante Pettis to be the 49ers playmaker of the future and I think Dante was beginning to live up to Kyle’s expectations toward the end of the season.
