“Returning to practice Wednesday was Kalia Davis, who had his practice return window opened. Shanahan was optimistic that he would make his return to the field Sunday.
Ricky Pearsall, meanwhile, remains out. Shanahan said that his shoulder injury was resolved before he went on the reserve/non-football injury list, but that the 49ers don’t believe he’s ready.
