Golden Nuggets: Too. Many. Penalties

There’s a lot of work left for the San Francisco 49ers after Saturday. While they managed to beat the Dallas Cowboys, it was a very strange game. But one thing needing addressed is the penalties.

The 49ers got 18 penalties on Saturday for a grand total of 216 yards. Over two football fields in yardage.

Ugh.

This isn’t record-setting, but it’s up there. Kyle found the closest thing to a record for penalty yards was set with Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens at 212. Since this is a preseason game, I doubt it goes into the record books even if it is the record (some sources have said 300 yards in a game so I’m treading lightly on this declaration).
