The first lull of the offseason is officially over, and the news and rumors have been rolling in at quite the pace. The combine has obviously fueled much of this, but the chatter surrounding upcoming free agents is starting to crop up as well, including a few storylines that affect the 49ers.
After a successful height and weight measurement at the combine, Kyler Murray has been rocketing in public draft boards, and his meeting with the Arizona Cardinals at the combine has only fueled speculation. Despite the now-infamous October 2018 remark by new Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury, I find it unlikely that they replace second-year, former first-round QB Josh Rosen.
