The Niners became the 2nd team in the NFL to incorporate virtual reality technology into their training routine. They signed an agreement with a tech company based out of Palo Alto today to use the company's tech. The technology allows players the ability to watch video based on position using a device that looks like a scuba mask. They will be able to watch plays develop as if they were on the field using this technology.
It was only a matter of time that this would happen. Technology is everywhere in the game and teams are always looking for a way to get an advantage.
