The 49ers just completed their most extensive "practice" session of the pre-season by facing the Houston Texans and there is plenty of things to chew on from the results. Of course, we know that pre-season results should always be taken with a huge grain of salt since they do not always translate into the regular season. But here are some things to think about based on the sampling of articles we have for today:
- The Hayne Train provided enough excitement to boost his chances of making the 53-man roster
- Rookies Eli Harold, Jaquiski Tartt, and need a lot more seasoning, but it looks like they will get a chance to contribute this seasons
- Totally not impressed by Bradley Pinion's showing, so he will have to step it up
