The San Francisco 49ers have taken a couple of hits in the last two days at the wide receiver position. Richie James broke his wrist training while Deebo Samuel suffered a broken foot. The 49ers have plenty of young guys that they can develop and give a chance. Players such as Shawn Poindexter, Chris Thompson, and more will get an opportunity they previously wouldn’t have. The names at the bottom of the depth chart won’t prevent the Niners from bringing in a free agent if they feel the need for a veteran presence.
