Wednesday was a fairly important day as the offseason continues to hum along. The combine wrapped up its third day, notably including the measurements for linemen. Considering the stock placed in length for both offensive and defensive linemen, today will likely send a few shockwaves through mock drafts. Oddly enough, one participant increased his arm length over an inch from the senior bowl practices!
More importantly, however, was the Franchise Tag deadline. I was personally devastated to see both of the MSU heroes, Le'Veon Bell and Kirk Cousins, get franchised. However, popular targets with the fans, Dontari Poe and Brandon Williams, made it to the deadline without the tag, seemingly opening the door for them to test the market.
