I posted a couple of links below to articles on Solomon Thomas having a hard time as an outside pass rusher in the NFL. I personally think he can make the transition if he works hard enough. The 49ers need to bring him into camp to exclusively play outside and let him work hard at it until he gets it down. It will pay great dividends in the end. Perhaps that is the motivation for bringing in Chris Kiffin? We just need to be patient. I didn’t feel that way when we drafted him but I have changed my mind after watching him play last season.
