The Niners training camp starts this Saturday, August 1st. With that date approaching, the Niners announce 5 players have been placed on injury lists to start camp. Carlos Hyde, Aaron Lynch, DeAndre Smelter, and Trent Brown were placed on the non-football injury list. Daniel Kilgore was placed on the physically unable to perform list.
Carlos Hyde, who should be the team's starting running back, apparently has a muscle pull and Tomsula doesn't want to take a risk with it. It makes sense to let it heal fully before having him practice.
