In the span of just over 24 hours, the 49ers went from the top seed in the NFC looking towards a 1st round bye and homefield advantage to the #5 seed with the potential of facing the Dallas Cowboys on the road for their 1st playoff game. The 49ers dropped a close game against the Baltimore Ravens on the road to drop their record to 10-2 and the Seattle Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings to move to 10-2. The Seahawks lead the NFC West by virtue of beating the 49ers a few weeks back.
