I have been a big Joe Williams fan for a while. I love to watch him carve up defenses so it isn’t any wonder that a story about him written by Chris Biderman caught my eye. Bobby Turner, perhaps the most respected running backs coach in the NFL, kept tabs on Williams like a family member before the draft.
“Whew. He was like my uncle,” Williams said of his new position coach. “We spoke at least once or twice every week . . . I’d always make sure to hit him right back just to show support and how much I appreciate him doing that.
