The San Francisco 49ers had been quiet this week, after a whirlwind of activity the first few days of free agency. However, they jumped back into the mix on Wednesday with a trade for Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah. The 49ers acquired Zuttah and the two teams swapped sixth round picks. The Ravens get pick No. 186, and the 49ers get pick No. 198.
Zuttah was named a Pro Bowl alternate this past year, and Pro Football Focus ranked him No. 14 among centers. He will compete with Daniel Kilgore for the starting center role, but both players provide versatility.
