Good morning! It was another ugly performance from the San Francisco 49ers. The offense showed some signs of life, but Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, and Tim Hightower had their way with the defense. The 49ers improved their chances of claiming one of the top two or three picks in the 2017 NFL Draft, and DuJuan Harris showed us some stuff. So, we’ve got that going for us.
I found it fascinating how media folks were talking about Colin Kaepernick’s big day and the improvement it might represent. This was primarily national media, not local media. During the game, Ronde Barber went on and on about how this is a new Kaepernick compared to recent games, and maybe he can build on this.
