Quarterback Nick Mullens is one player the San Francisco 49ers hope has a solid game against the visiting New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
Mullens, who emerged as an unlikely hero for the Niners in head coach Kyle Shanahan’s second win of 2018 last week against the Oakland Raiders, will match up opposite Giants veteran quarterback Eli Manning. And behind one of the league’s worst offensive lines, Manning has taken an NFL-high 31 sacks on the season.
That certainly bodes well for San Francisco’s defense, which in turn, should help Mullens and the 49ers offense out a lot.
