The New York Giants are sticking with the familiar in their Week 10 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Giants head coach Pat Shurmur announced on Tuesday that Eli Manning will remain the starting quarterback for Monday Night Football.
The news is not entirely shocking. Manning is struggling in a big way, playing like he has a giant fork sticking out of his back. However, the team does not seem prepared to make the move to further assess rookie quarterback Kyle Lauletta. There were rumors it might happen soon, but his arrest last week for refusing to follow police officer directions while in his car likely changed that.
