Geep Chryst's tenure as offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers may have come to an abrupt end, as Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported the team fired the veteran coach Tuesday.
Chryst was one of 10 assistants reportedly let go, along with quarterbacks coach Steve Logan, wide receivers coaches Adam Henry and Ronald Curry, secondary coach Tim Lewis, defensive line coach Scott Brown, defensive assistants Ejiro Evero and Aubrayo Franklin and offensive assistants T.C. McCartney and Joe Scola.
Chryst was named San Francisco's offensive coordinator in January after spending the previous four seasons as the team's quarterbacks coach.
