The team that owned the NFL’s second-worst record two months ago now has the 10th-best odds to win next season’s Super Bowl.
Per the opening NFL odds by Bovada.com, the 49ers have a 20-1 odds to win Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, which places them above five playoff teams: the Panthers (25-1), Jaguars (28-1), Chiefs (28-1), Titans (50-1) and Bills (66-1).
Why all the optimism about a 6-10 team? Three words: James. Richard. Garoppolo.
