Garoppolo, 49ers’ first-team offense lack finishing kick

INDIANAPOLIS - In the first half Saturday, the 49ers’ first-team offense had 213 yards, converted 4 of 5 third downs and made three trips inside the red zone.

However, that production didn’t lead to many points.

The 49ers managed just two field goals in the first two quarters of their 23-17 preseason loss to the Colts thanks partly to drops and penalties.

“There are a lot of little details that we need to get fixed up before we get back out there,” quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo said. “There was a lot of good things. We moved the ball well.
