The San Francisco 49ers had a disappointing season in 2018, with expectations going south following Jimmy Garoppolo’s torn ACL. The team welcomes him and Jerick McKinnon back from rehab, and head into the offseason with expectations climbing for 2019. The Los Angeles Rams are still the team to beat in the NFC West, but if the 49ers can stay healthy, they could push Seattle for a wild card berth.
The team did not have many big decisions to make this offseason, a year removed from giving Jimmy Garoppolo a contract extension. They franchised Robbie Gould and have extended right guard Mike Person.
